Sheraton Kuching Hotel

Reached hotel at 11pm with ultimate disappointment. I booked deluxe 2 double bed room for 3 adults, given the impression that it’s 2 queen size bed as seen on the app (we came with 4 adults and 1 baby thinking to include the last adult during check in). After I checked in, I realised that I was given 2 super single bed instead. Everything in the room was in 2s (towels, pillows, water etc). Hotel told me that their double beds are all super single size which was not what I saw in the pic during booking. Eventually hotel gave me an extra bed FOC “on goodwill”. I would like to emphasized that the extra bed is not FOC, I already paid for it, as the booking is for 3 adults. Hence it wasn’t free at all. All these caused some unhappiness for my family as these wasn’t expected from a 5 star hotel. And hotel manager told me that she understood my situation however there’s nothing they can do to. Not even upgrading my hotel rooms as my booking was through third party. I’m quite disappointment with the service I received. The help = no help. We had to squeeze through the 3 nights stay in the tiny room. Nonetheless, hotel housekeeping service is good and clean. Amenities and facilities are up to par.

Overall, the Sheraton Kuching Hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay with good service and amenities. It is located at the heart of city, suitable for business travelers. The breakfast is nice taste with variety choices.

Excellent three night stay at the Sheraton. Location was excellent with many eateries nearby, money exchange and massage salon over the road plus minutes away from the water front. Breakfast was excellent, lots of options, also ate dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. Room was nice and modern, bed was comfortable although pillows were too soft for me, I requested foam ones, housekeeping brought to me but seemed the same. Pool was semi open style, really nice, shame that the roof top bar wasn’t ready yet.

staying in Sheraton hotel will never go wrong. check in service is good and friendly, the room is spacious and clean. great reception. Breakfast was good with varieties to choose, good ambient.

Hotel location strategic to Kuching City and waterfront. Walking distance to nearby foodcourt,india street,waterfront,bridge etc. Check in and check out smooth. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet overall is good,they even serve local sarawak food. Room is spacious and clean.

Friendly staffs esp front counter. However, housekeeping room to improve. Bath towel never get replacement and after called up need to wait for an hour. Leaking bath tub and the bath room flooded. However the staff (Mr Kendrick) rectified and tried to compensated us for late check out (due to our flight been retimed)

Good location. Friendly service. New hotel. Beautiful pool.
